The tourist from Holland said that she traveled almost 1,800 kilometers to reach Romania.

“I came from 1,800 kilometers away right here, from Holland. Happy New Year! We had a party at the hotel, with Romanian music, drinks, food, three courses, it was very good”said the young woman, according to the observer.

After the night party, many tourists forgo breakfast and choose festive brunches. The menus ranged from traditional Romanian dishes to international specialties.

“It is a tradition to wait for them with a Romanian brunch, interwoven with products from international cuisine. We have live music and dishes for all tastes”, said Laura Ursu, general manager of the hotel, for the cited source.

For some, New Year's Eve turned into a lasting party.

“Dit's three days straight. New Year's Eve lasts three days and three nights”, said another tourist, a sign that, in the mountain resorts, the beginning of the year was marked by non-stop fun.
