Severe flooding in Saudi Arabia – the streets of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina went under water. After heavy rains, roads turned into rivers and cars were washed away by the flood.
The Saudi Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Mecca, Medina and the port city of Jeddah. Water cascaded over the usually dry and rocky ledges and flooded cities and towns.
