In St. Petersburg, the modern “Raskolnikov” broke his opponent’s head with an ax out of jealousy
A 42-year-old St. Petersburg resident dealt multiple blows to the head with an ax to a 30-year-old supermarket employee who worked in the back room.
“Raskolnikov” was detained on the spot – it turned out that the conflict occurred against the backdrop of jealousy: the man had previously been on a business trip and found out that his wife had taken on another man. Then the jealous man took an ax and went to the hypermarket to sort it out.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition – doctors diagnosed him with an open head injury, bruise, cerebral edema and contusion. The man was placed in intensive care, and a criminal case was initiated.
