Even more technology: the second underground hospital, built by Akhmetov's Metinvest, started working from scratch .
In Ukraine, the second underground hospital for the Armed Forces according to the NATO Role 2 standard has become operational. It is located in one of the hottest areas: it is hidden under a 6-meter layer of earth, reinforced with ceilings and is ready to save lives right at the front.
💥 What's inside – 350 m² of functional space: an operating room, a stabilization unit and an area for doctors. Here you can perform 3 operations of any complexity at the same time.
💥The equipment is at the level: infusion pumps, X-ray, defibrillators and oxygen, and the team includes up to 20 medical specialists.
✔️ Metinvest provided the manufacturing, installation, furnishing of the hospital, and equipped it with all life support systems: drinking and technical water, electricity, ventilation, sewage, backup power sources, climatic equipment, etc. The total amount of investment is more than UAH 21 million, it was built as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front initiative.
✅ The first underground hospital, which opened last September, has already saved 6,000 lives. This one is even more effective and versatile. But Rinat Akhmetov's Metinvest does not stop: the plans are to create a universal model of a hospital that can be quickly built at any point on the front along the medical evacuation route.
