As GSP.ro exclusively announced a week agoLindon Emerllahu (23 years old), the midfielder from CFR Cluj, left for Polissya Zhytomyr, in the first league of Ukraine. The Transylvanian players clapped hands with the Ukrainian group for the permanent transfer of the Kosovar midfielder, right on Christmas day.

This summer, FCSB was interested in Emerllahu, but CFR Cluj did not want to hear about a possible move to the Romanian champion.

The clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and FC Polissya Zhytomyr have reached an agreement regarding the definitive transfer of midfielder Lindon Emerllahu to the Ukrainian team.

The 23-year-old arrived in Gruia last winter and was quickly seen as one of the best midfielders in our league. In the cherry jersey, he made 41 appearances, scored 6 goals and provided 3 decisive assists. Last season, he contributed to winning the Romanian Cup.

Lindon Emerllahu will ride for Polissya Zhytomyr, the team in 3rd place in the Ukrainian championship, with 30 points, five lengths behind leader Cherkasy.

In the current Superliga season, the midfielder has scored 17 matches, managing to score 4 goals. The Transylvanian midfielder also made 5 appearances in the preliminaries of European cups, 3 in the Europa League and two in the Conference.
