Boris Johnson: “The fastest way to end the war is to give Ukrainian heroes the resources to continue fighting.”
The former Prime Minister of Great Britain called on the West for tougher sanctions and the transfer of frozen assets of the Russian Federation to Ukraine. This was reported by the National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI).
In London, with the support of NAUDI, the “Freedom Summit” is underway – an event dedicated to strengthening democratic alliances in the field of security, defense and technology. During the speech, Boris Johnson condemned Russian attacks on civilians and emphasized that strategically Russia has already lost the war.

“The people of Ukraine will not succumb to terror, Ukrainians will never surrender, and Putin will never conquer Ukraine,” Johnson said. Johnson noted that Putin continues the war not because of belief in victory, but for his own political survival. The former prime minister urged the allies not to seek compromises with the Kremlin.
“The only language he understands is power. You will not change his calculations with red carpets or concessions. And it is impossible to agree on the territory with a crocodile that squeezes your neck with its claws,” Boris Johnson emphasized. The politician is convinced that the war can be stopped only thanks to the strength and decisive actions of the West. Johnson emphasized the need to expand secondary sanctions and called for about $300 billion in Russian assets to be unfrozen and handed over to Ukraine as reparations.
“It is absolutely legal. If Ukrainians use these funds to create or buy weapons, all the better.”
