The Parliamentary Rules Committee found that the declarations of the former head of the Ministry of National Defence, PiS MP Antoni Macierewicz, expressing consent to be held liable for offenses at the request of the Police Commander-in-Chief meet formal requirements. According to PAP information, these are two traffic offenses.

At Thursday's meeting of the parliamentary committee on rules, parliamentary matters and immunity, the chairman of the committee, Jarosław Urbaniak (KO), said that on Wednesday Macierewicz submitted two declarations of consent to be held liable for offenses specified in the applications of the Chief Commander of the Police of October 21 this year.
The Commission found that the statements met the requirements of formal correctness.
According to PAP information, these are two offenses against safety and order in public transport: one concerns an incident related to a car. According to PAP's source, “everything indicates that Macierewicz was the driver.” The second case is a road accident committed as a pedestrian. (PAP)
