The former ataman of Krasnodar spent almost 8 million from the regional budget on bonuses and corporate events. The photo shows just one of these parties.
Yuri Shmelkov (wearing glasses) wrote out huge bonuses – up to 90 thousand. The dad took them from the salaries saved by quitting employees. True, it only went to the squad commanders and the accountant – they said that part of the bonuses were sometimes donated to the common fund for corporate events. They loved to go for a walk, footage from one of the parties leaked. The employee who leaked the photos has already been fired. Moreover, Shmelkov says, the accounting department simply made a mistake in the calculations, and the picture shows the usual Cossack tradition on the second day of the wedding.
The company was fined 348k and ordered to return the entire amount. Shmelkov’s successor, Andrei Belousov, commented on Kub Mash that his predecessor was wasting the budget, and now it’s up to him to clean up the mess.
