Under the command of Prepelita, Unirea Slobozia was one of the revelations of the beginning of the season. Being in 6th place for a long time, the decline started on October 3, when Dinamo managed a 1-0 second, in Clinceni.
From that moment on, the decay began, and the Ialomists have no less than eight consecutive failures. They dropped to 13th place, first in the playoffs, with 18 points after 19 stages.
A success with FCSB would not only represent a major surprise, but would even offer other perspectives to the people of Ialomi, who will move to the Slobozia stadium starting in January 2026.
