Gigi Becali picked up the phone and called Mirel Rădoi: “100 times”

Gigi Becali (67 years old), the owner of FCSB, revealed that he recently called Mirel Rădoi (44 years old), the former technician from Craiova University, but he did not answer. Becali tried “a hundred times” to end his contract, freed from his contract after leaving Bănie, but he did not succeed.

Mirel Rădoi made the decision at the beginning of November to leave the team, after the failure with UTA Arad, score 1-2. He had intended to resign in the past, but each time he was turned away. In the end, no one convinced him anymore and he gave up the project, even though the team was not doing badly, the resignation coming right at the end of the week in which Craiova managed to achieve its first success in a European group, with Rapid Vienna.

After leaving Craiova, Rădoi was persistently called by Gigi Becali, who is his godfather, but he did not answer.

Gigi Becali called Radoi, but in vain

The telephone calls given by Becali would have had the purpose of consulting with Rădoi on certain football matters, but by no means the attempt of the boss from FCSB to take the former selector to the helm of the Romanian champion.

“Mirel doesn't answer me. I gave him 100 phone calls and he doesn't answer me! Well, I called him to consult with him again, to give him two or three coaching lessons. He doesn't answer! Do I know why he doesn't answer? I also consult with Şumudica and everyone. I give them lessons because I'm an old coach”said Gigi Becali, quoted by fanatik.ro.

“Rotaru said that he can't join the team, that it would mean that he would want bankruptcy himself. That's what nea Mihăiță from Craiova declared. He says that he doesn't command and that he doesn't interfere with the coach. When there, he bankrupted the team in the match with Sparta Prague. He made the changes!

A coach wouldn't have made those changes. They have clocks like that and they communicate through clocks. In Craiova, Mirel did something that is hard to discern. Mirel made a work of art that is difficult to maintain,” Becali also said.

He did not close any of his gates. In Romania, all the gates were closed. Where could he train? In Craiova, FCSB, Dinamo, Rapid or CFR. At FCSB it crashes from the start, zero compatibility. He is anti-dynamoist, at Rapid you know very well the chants against Mirel.

At the moment, there is only one team where Rădoi could work in Romania: at Craiova University. The gate of Craiova will always be open for Mirel Rădoi. This is a special relationship.
