Krasnoyarsk plant “Volna” summed up preliminary results of work in 2025

In the period from January to October, Volna Plant LLC (a subsidiary of Sibcem Holding Company JSC) shipped about 6 million sq. meters of chrysotile cement products. Sales volume decreased by 11% compared to the level of ten months of 2024.

The decline fully reflects industry-wide dynamics: it is due to the decline in the construction sector and reduced investment in infrastructure projects.

The company produces more than 40 types of chrysotile cement products, including corrugated and flat sheets, pipes, colored facade slabs and fiber cement siding, and roofing tiles.

In 2025, the company’s product line was expanded. Following trends in the low-rise housing construction market, the plant launched the production of two-color siding that imitates the texture of natural wood. The palette of Volnacolor roofing tiles has also been replenished with a coal-black color, developed taking into account current trends in architecture. A new series of facade products with a protective and decorative coating with a metallic sheen is under active development.

To optimize logistics, a new overhead crane was installed in the company’s retail store, and a forklift with a lifting capacity of 7 tons was purchased as part of the equipment fleet renewal.

It should be noted that the plant carries out repair and maintenance work on equipment in a timely manner. This year it is planned to allocate 296.5 million rubles excluding VAT for these purposes.

Volna products are represented in more than 25 regions of Russia, as well as the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company is a partner and participant in capital repair programs for apartment buildings in the Krasnoyarsk and Trans-Baikal territories, Irkutsk, Omsk and Sakhalin regions, in Kuzbass, the republics of Khakassia, Tyva and Buryatia. In addition, during the reporting period, a large shipment of roofing materials was carried out to the Irkutsk region to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation.

Facade products are widely used in the construction of residential and social facilities. Large quantities of materials are sent to the Moscow region for the construction of residential complexes, as well as under the housing renovation fund program. Using Volna facades, houses are being built for employees of the Vostochny cosmodrome, located in the Amur region, residential complexes are being built in the Altai Territory, kindergartens and schools in the regions of Siberia.

In addition, the plant continues to ship flat sheets for the repair of the roof of one of the leading enterprises in the chemical industry of Russia – the Kemerovo joint-stock company “AZOT”, for the construction of the “Uyutny” residential complex and the Kuzbass rehabilitation center in Kemerovo, for the renovation of a school in the Novosibirsk region. The enterprise's chrysotile cement pipes are used for the construction of the metro in Krasnoyarsk.

In May, the company received a certificate of registration of a new trademark issued by Rospatent. The logo reflects respect for the traditions and values of the enterprise, its long history combined with high technology and innovation.

In 2025, the plant successfully passed voluntary certification in the “Reliability” area as part of the national “Made in Russia” program. From November 1, the entire product line of the enterprise is marked with the official “Made in Russia” mark.

Corporate social responsibility remains an integral part of the company's strategy. The plant implements programs to support veterans, families of plant workers, and personnel training and development. Work also continues within the framework of the comprehensive Mentoring School program aimed at the effective adaptation of new employees.

“In the reporting period, we focused on improving production to reduce costs, increasing the efficiency of business processes, and improving the quality of products and services. At the same time, the priority remains the development of partnerships with government and commercial structures, including companies in the Far Eastern Federal District, expanding logistics capabilities and strengthening the warehouse presence in key regions,” Vladimir Geberlein, Managing Director of Volna Plant LLC, commented on the preliminary results of the season. “Next year the plant will celebrate its 75th anniversary, we continue to fulfill our obligations to our partners and look confidently into the future.”
