The court extended the arrest of ex-mayor of Nazarov Vladimir Saar

The Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk extended the period of detention of the former head of the city of Nazarovo, Vladimir Saar. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The period of detention in relation to the accused Vladimir Rudolfovich Saar has been extended by 2 months, that is, until February 6, 2026, with the accused being kept in the pre-trial detention center 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory,” the press service clarified.

Let us remind you that a criminal case has been opened against Vladimir Saar according to Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking a bribe). It has been previously established that from 2023 to 2024, the accused, while in the position of mayor of Nazarov, reached an agreement with PromStroy LLC to receive illegal monetary compensation.

The bribe was intended for providing advantages in concluding and executing municipal contracts for road construction work in the city and amounted to 3.5 million rubles. Through his illegal actions, the former official helped PromStroy LLC win the competitive procedure and conclude a contract worth 100 million rubles.
