The Krasnoyarsk woman was able to get into her apartment only after two years of legal proceedings. All this time, the woman owned the house, paid for utilities, but could not get into it – the former residents changed the locks on the doors three times.

According to the regional bailiff service, the woman bought an apartment at auction after the previous owners lost it due to debts. The problem was that the former owner remained registered in the apartment – an elderly man who did not actually live there. His wife, who remained in the apartment, refused to let the new owner in.
The court made a decision on forced entry, but its implementation was delayed. Bailiffs visited the address three times. At first they gave the woman the key to one lock, but after a few days they cut a new one into the door. The second attempt also failed. Only after the bailiffs officially recorded the illegal obstruction, and the court confirmed their actions, was the issue resolved.
During the final checkout, the wife of the registered man was expelled from the apartment. The owner herself has finally received full access to her property and is now preparing a claim for reimbursement of expenses incurred.
