During his pontificate, he met with the great of this world and ordinary people. He was characterized by a strong character, ascetic lifestyle, good organization of working time, diligence and punctuality. He was authentic. He believed in what he did, believed in the words of the Gospel and put them into action despite the opposition of many environments. He failed liberals who believed that he would interpret the Gospel in a more open way. He failed conservatives who believed that their power and traditions were more important than Jesus' words.
Pope Francis died on April 21, 2025 on Easter Monday. He was 88 years old.
