The elusive ostrich Vasya has been hiding from his owners for four days in the forests near Syktyvkar.
On October 26, an ostrich named Vasya escaped from a farm in Pazhga. The escape occurred due to a quarrel with another male on the farm. He hid in the forest and skillfully avoids all the traps that the “hunters” set.
Vasya also manages to tear the nets and kick his pursuers. The next “hunt” attempt is scheduled for tomorrow morning. A couple of times Vasya was caught by volunteers, but their darts with sleeping pills could not penetrate his feathers.

The ostrich is no longer so sharp. Our chances are increasing
— volunteers note.
