VIDEO. Elena Șerban reacted after Denmark – Romania 39-31: “We have time to adjust the defense until the match with Hungary”

“It was an honor, I felt very good especially that we had a big crowd with us. Unfortunately, we didn't win this match, but we gave ourselves and fought until the last minute.

I think that after the good start we weren't careful in defense anymore, we didn't fight anymore. Denmark is a team with very valuable players and I think we had to be a little more careful in defense. They scored quite easily. We are moving forward, much tougher matches await us and I hope we emerge victorious.

We have time to adjust the defense until the match against Hungary. It comes down to will and determination and I have confidence in the girls that we will step up and play a much more solid defense in the next few games.

We thank the fans from the bottom of our hearts, we look forward to the next matches. It matters a lot! They are the eighth player, we really need them. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for coming to support us”, Elena Șerban told GSP.ro.
