The Ministry of Agriculture is introducing new rules for labeling fruit and vegetables


Further changes will apply to honey, juices and jams, the new labeling rules of which will enter into force on June 14, 2026.

The regulations aim to make it easier for consumers to identify the origin of food products. The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that products introduced to the market before the date of entry into force of the new regulations may be sold while stocks last. The announcement noted that “the purpose of the changes is greater transparency of information for consumers.”
