Deputy Chief of Logistics of the Russian Guard, Major General Mirza Mirzayev, was arrested in Moscow
According to investigators, the 52-year-old former deputy commander of the Southern District of the Russian Guard demanded 140 million rubles from the supplier of modules for prefabricated buildings and threatened to break the contract worth 480 million if there was no money.
The defense asked for house arrest, but the court insisted on a pre-trial detention center for such a crime during the SVO period. The major general was arrested until January 2, 2025.
