Marian Vanghelie, accused of stalking and threatening a woman with death. Who is Ana Gabriela Clipici

The former mayor of sector 5, Marian Vanghelie, is again at the center of a scandal after Ana Gabriela Clipici, the girlfriend of Liviu Dragnea's son, accused him of following her by car through several areas of Bucharest. The incident would have taken place in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Judicial sources say that the police were stopped by the woman this morning, around 03:10, on Str. Nicolae G. Caramfil no. 74, and she told them that she was followed by a car through several areas of Bucharest and Voluntari. On Bd. Pipera, the passenger of that car, Marian Vanghelie, allegedly swore at her and threatened her with death.

While the police were talking to the woman, Vanghelie also came to the scene, who said that, in fact, he had been followed by the woman on several streets and that he had not spoken to her at all.

Ana Gabriela Clipici, 33 years old, is the head of the Nutrelo farm, from Lița commune, Teleorman county, and the press writes that she is the lover of Liviu Dragnea's son.

The young woman graduated a few years ago from a faculty in the field of agriculture and worked for a while on her family's farm, before joining the group of companies run by the Dragnea family.

This summer, Oana Mizil complained to the police about her ex-husband, Marian Vanghelie, accusing him of coming to her house drunk, threatening her with death and being violent.

According to the investigators, Oana Mizil's mother called 112 and complained to the ex-son-in-law that he was causing a scandal and being violent.

The police arrived at the scene, opened a criminal case for the threat and issued a provisional protection order, valid for five days, in the name of the former mayor. However, the authorities decided that monitoring with an electronic bracelet is not required.
