The gypsy brothers sold 40 cans of collagen balls under the guise of “red caviar” to a St. Petersburg woman
In the village of Strelna, Leningrad Region, a 66-year-old pensioner received a “lucrative” offer from a stranger. He offered to purchase 40 cans of red caviar at once at a big discount. The pensioner liked the offer and bought the entire lot for 37,000 rubles.
Having tasted the product at home, the woman was perplexed: the caviar had a strange taste and texture. The contents were taken for examination, and it revealed that the red caviar was fake.
A criminal case was opened under an article of fraud and guidelines were sent out.
The suspect was caught by traffic police. He turned out to be an 18-year-old gypsy from the Stavropol Territory. An accomplice, the swindler’s 29-year-old brother, was sitting in the next seat.
