The Left also enters the Sejm, gaining 7.2 percent. and the Confederation of the Polish Crown with a result of 5.1 percent.
Other parties, such as the Razem Party (3.9%), PSL (3.2%) and Polska 2050 (1.7%), did not exceed the electoral threshold. 5.2 percent respondents have not yet decided who they would vote for.
Voter turnout would be 58%.
Experts point out the continued stagnation in the polls. The president of IBRiS, Marcin Duma, explains that slight increases in support for the Confederation and the Left are within the limits of statistical error. He also notes that PiS did not gain additional support after its candidate won the presidential election. According to the Duma, the lack of breakthrough events in national politics favors the stabilization of results.
The advantage of right-wing parties over the government of Donald Tusk
In the opinion of Marcin Duma, whose words are quoted by “Rzeczpopolita”, entrusting the function of Speaker of the Sejm to Włodzimierz Czarzasty did not significantly affect the balance of political forces in a short period of time. The expert emphasizes that the advantage of right-wing parties is clear, and the claim about the dominance of the ruling coalition over the right is premature.
Duma notes that the most dynamic changes are taking place on the right side of the political scene. PGrzegorz Braun's party once again crossed the electoral threshold, and the Confederation maintains third position. Jarosław Kaczyński must take into account strong competition on the right, which will probably remain a permanent element of the political landscape.
Three right-wing parties are competing for a similar electorate and are currently stronger than the parties forming the government coalition, which could allow them to create a parliamentary majority. Total support for KO and the Left is 37.6 percent, while PiS, Confederation and Braun's party can count on 48.3 percent.
