The traditional meeting of government officials, employees of energy companies, scientists and experts, dedicated to summing up the work and prospects for the development of the industry, took place on November 19-21 at the Siberian Energy Forum in Krasnoyarsk.

The team of the Boguchanskaya HPP was represented by the head of the Technological Control Systems Service, Yuri Skornyakov, and the deputy head of the Production and Technical Service, Anton Maikov. Participants in the Forum of Working Youth, held within the framework of the SEF, were two young employees of the station – PTS engineer Anastasia Lebed and mechanic of the Laboratory of Hydraulic Structures Konstantin Efimov.

“The forum organizers offered us a diverse program covering many areas of life for young professionals – from using the resources of the compulsory and voluntary health insurance system to participating in volunteer projects existing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We tried to visit most of the sites and listen to representatives of various organizations – regional Youth Policy and Labor and Employment Agencies, Labor brigades, specialists in psychology and financial security. There are many young employees in the Boguchanskaya HPP team, we will discuss the Forum information with colleagues,” said Anastasia Lebed.

The main theme of the SEF was to ensure reliable and efficient energy supply to the population, industry and public sector of the region. The regional government sets an important task for all enterprises in the industry: by joining forces, exchange experiences of successful projects and the introduction of modern technologies.

The forum included thematic sections on the transformation of traditional energy, the introduction of modern energy efficiency and digitalization technologies, the implementation of import substitution projects and personnel training. The Boguchanskaya HPP, which reached its design capacity 10 years ago, remains one of the most modern energy enterprises in terms of technical equipment. Thanks to highly qualified personnel and efficient equipment, the station produces more than a quarter of the energy consumed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from renewable resources.

At the plenary session on the first day of the SEF, several forum participants received awards for their contribution to the development of the most important sector of the Russian economy. The honorary title “Honored Power Engineer of the Krasnoyarsk Territory” was awarded to the head of the SSSU, Yuri Skornyakov. The award was recognition of his merits in the formation of the Service team and the reliable operation of the station. Yuri Skornyakov’s dedication to the profession, deep knowledge and responsible attitude to his work serve as an example for all employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP.
