The Prime Minister recently reacted by accusing them of “mimicking the reform”.
At the same time, ANRE recently wanted to hire former PSD MPs Iulian Iancu and Gheorghe Marin as experts. They were to share a position, each half-time.
The Iancu – Marin case increased the controversy in ANRE

The expert position was to be in the cabinet of ANRE vice president, Gabriel Andronache. The Legal Department objected. Called by HotNews, Iulian Iancu, one of the two, did not deny it, but said that “this subject is permanently closed from October 6, 2025.”

President Niculescu, absent

“In the last few days, after the case became public, President Niculescu has not appeared in the institution anymore, he avoids complicated days,” a specialist from ANRE told HotNews.
The one where the two were to be employed, Gabriel Andronache, is vice-president of ANRE from April 2023, being supported by PSD. According to his CV, Andronache was an MApN officer, active for 11 years. Later, he was a member of several boards of directors of state-owned companies.
