innovation, education and connectivity for millions of Poles

One of the most important elements of this year's festival was the premiere of the 7th edition of the report “Technology in the service of society. Will Poles become society 5.0?”. Its main theme was connectivity, and the results of a representative survey of Poles showed how important a role it plays in their everyday lives. For 76 percent of us, communication is as critical as electricity or water, and as many as 68 percent respondents expect that global technology giants will co-finance its development. The research results were also the starting point for many debates and discussions during the festival itself: from talks about the future of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, to digital education and personal data protection.
— Connectivity, invisible to many, is ubiquitous. It is the bloodstream of a modern state. What unites society, business and administration into one organism. It is no longer just a tool for communication or access to information, but a critical infrastructure on which the development of the economy, the availability of e-services of administration and even the security of our country are based. Therefore, the development of digital connectivity must go hand in hand with actions for social inclusion and equal opportunities – says Anna Węgrzynowicz, senior social responsibility specialist at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

Innovation Night – discovering technologies that are changing our world together
This year's Innovation Night, organized as part of the 7th edition of the Digital Festival, once again turned Poland into a space full of technology, science and inspiration. On October 24, 2025, universities, research institutes, technology parks, and innovative companies across the country opened their doors to thousands of visitors: from the youngest to seniors. Over 90 events took place throughout Poland, during which participants could, among others: look behind the scenes at the work of journalists at the Media Education Center of Radio Kielce, program robots at the PGE Energy Science Center, discover the secrets of bionics and virtual reality at the Częstochowa University of Technology, and observe the stars at the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Białystok. The Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz organized meetings devoted to digital hygiene and the impact of technology on the mental health of young people. In Wrocław, thanks to EY GDS Poland, the main partner of the Innovation Night, participants examined how artificial intelligence affects communication and language learning.
Discovering technology together is the best way to build openness and trust in the digital world. Innovation Night allows everyone – regardless of age and profession – to see that the future is happening here and now, and we are all part of it
