Răzvan Marin (29) was the man to equalize for AEK Athens in the match against Samsunspor, the surprise leader of the only group in the Conference League. The Greeks were in the lead, but in the 52nd minute the Romanian midfielder restored the tie with an impeccable free kick, a shot perfectly placed in the goal area, without any chance for the Turkish goalkeeper.

Marin's goal was the 4th success for AEK, the first being on August 14, in the victory against Aris, score 3-1, also in the Conference League.

Marin, eliminated in the derby with Panathinaikos

Over the weekend, Marin had experienced a negative episode. He came on at half-time in Athens' big derby with Panathinaikos and was sent off after two yellow cards in just 35 minutes. AEK still won 3-2.

The suspension for the touch in the game with OFI, from the 4th stage of the Greek Cup league phase, won 2-0 by AEK.

Since his arrival at AEK Athens in July, the Romanian midfielder has already played 24 official matches.
