The 3 Romanian teams found out their opponents from the EHF European League groups

Rapid, Corona Brașov and Minaur Baia Mare found out their opponents for the EHF European League groups.
The draw for the EHF European League groups took place on Thursday in Vienna, and Romania had 3 teams in the ballot boxes, out of the total of 16.

Romania's vice-champion, Corona Brașov, was assigned to group D, along with Viborg (Denmark), Dijon (France) and Zaglebie Lubin (Poland).
Coming from the qualifications, Rapid Bucharest will play in group C, against Ternes Bergen (Norway), Lokomotiva Zagreb (Croatia), and VFL Oldenburg (Germany).
Minaur Baia Mare fell into group A, together with Thuringer (Germany), Mosonmagyarovari (Hungary) and Larvik Norway).
In group B the following teams were assigned: Nykoping (Denmark), Blomberg (Germany), ESztergom (Hungary) and Chambray (France).
The games start in January 2026! The top two ranked teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals. Group matches start on the weekend of 10-11 January 2026.
