Fatal road accident in Olt. A 75-year-old driver hit a pedestrian on the right side of the road with his car
A 52-year-old woman died in a road accident on Wednesday morning, November 19, 2025, on DN 67 B, in a town in Olt. At the wheel of the car that hit the woman was a 75-year-old driver. The victim was driving on the right side of the road.

The accident occurred within the radius of Vulturești, before 7:00 a.m. According to certain data, the woman was moving on the side of the road, in the same direction as the car, being hit by it.
“On November 19, 2025, at around 06:35, the Olt County Police Inspectorate was alerted, by calling 112, regarding the fact that, on National Road 67B, in Vulturești commune, a road incident took place. Police officers from the Olt Road Service went to the scene.
From the first checks, the police established the fact that a car driven by a 75-year-old man from Vulturești commune, Olt county, for reasons to be determined during the investigations, hit a pedestrian, namely a 52-year-old woman from the same locality”the representatives of the Olt County Police Inspectorate sent.
A woman died as a result of the road accident. The police tested the driver with the breathalyzer, the result indicating that he did not consume alcoholic beverages.
Research continues in this case, the police will determine exactly the circumstances in which the event occurred and order the necessary legal measures.
