In Krasnoyarsk on Sunday night, traffic police officers detained a drunk man, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.

On Shchorsa Street, traffic police inspectors on the night of November 16 detained a 35-year-old Toyota driver with signs of severe alcohol intoxication. The police asked the man to take a breathalyzer test. The alcohol concentration was 1.356 mg/l, while the norm was 0.16 mg/l.

“This condition is characterized by a serious lack of coordination of movements, a slow reaction and an inadequate assessment of the situation on the road. Driving a car in this condition poses a huge danger not only for the driver himself, but also for other road users,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The driver will receive a fine of 45 thousand rubles, and he will also be deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for up to two years. If a man is arrested again for drunk driving, he will face criminal charges.
