Three calls to 112 signaled a medical emergency for an unconscious person, in the case of the 2-year-old girl who died after anesthesia at a dental clinic in the capital, the first call being registered at 6:41 p.m., according to the data transmitted by STS to News.ro.

“The first two requests were received at 18:41 and at 18:51, being a medical emergency for an unconscious person, at a dental office in Sector 3 of Bucharest. The cases were transferred in approximately one minute, for competent resolution, to the ISU-SMURD, Ambulance and Police dispatchers, in accordance with the incident index of the Methodology regarding the cooperation of specialized intervention agencies and other entities with competences in the field, for taking over and managing emergencies received through the unique national system for emergency calls”stated STS, for News.ro.

At the same time, at 19:49, through another call to 112, a Police crew was requested in connection with the same case. The call was transferred to the Police, ISU-SMURD and Ambulance.

The girl's father claims that he was notified over an hour after the child went into cardio-respiratory arrest.

“After 20 minutes, after sedating or anesthetizing her, the child went into cardio-respiratory arrest, and we were notified only after an hour or so. And the ambulance, the same: it came after an hour or so,” said the girl's father.
