The draft on mandatory use of public transport by officials was not supported in the State Duma
According to the bill, deputies would have to use public transport twice a week.
The explanatory note to the project stated that “the example of officials in the massive use of public transport may encourage more citizens to abandon personal cars in favor of public transport.”
