Xabi Alonso would no longer have the support of the dressing room – claims the Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo.
Two poor results, 0-1 with Liverpool in the Champions League and 0-0 with Rayo in La Liga, were enough for the atmosphere around Xabi Alonso to become incendiary.

After being “rolled over” by the Madrid press, the coach of Real Madrid was recently welcomed by the most important profile newspaper in Catalunya, Mundo Deportivo.
Although Xabi leads Real in La Liga, 3 points ahead of Barcelona, the quoted publication reports the existence of “fissures in the dressing room. The Basque coach, who is very methodical, does not seem to have the support of the players”.

The same newspaper names five stars who are said to be unhappy with Alonso's tactics and meticulousness: Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Thibaut Courtois, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde.
