A webcam studio with teenage girls was found behind the wall of the state children's library in Moscow. Underage models worked for foreign audiences.
One of these “actresses” was only 14 years old. Employees of the Center for the Protection of Youth Rights and activists of the Youth Parliament sent her to get a job there as an experiment. A hidden camera was hung on the girl’s clothes, and a curator monitored the process.
During the interview, the teenager was offered a “trial shift for a foreign audience.” Then they talked about bonuses: free psychologists, “toys for work,” a photographer, a content maker, and even a COACH. The video shows moments of these negotiations.
However, it is not yet possible to hold the studio owners accountable, since according to the law there is no fact of sexual intercourse. Earlier, Deputy Metelev proposed for consideration an initiative that would make such a thing criminally punishable. Now it is being considered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to sociologists, 5% of webcam models in Russia admitted that they started working in the field before the age of 18. 30% of girls were faced with offers to engage in prostitution, 39% – with an invitation to act in porn (every seventh eventually agreed). 20% said: they became addicted to drugs after working on camera. 19.1% were blackmailed when they wanted to leave.
