Four cars burned in a fire that broke out on the night of Sunday to Monday in a parking lot in Ploiesti, two of them being completely destroyed by the flames.

The fire was announced on the night of Sunday to Monday, around 01:00, on Zarandului street in the municipality of Ploiesti.
The military firefighters from Detachment 1 Ploieşti intervened with two special fire trucks with water and foam, and an SMURD crew was also sent to the scene.
“When the fire crews arrived, the fire was widespread in two cars, being affected and two others that were in their proximity. The cars were parked, there were no people on board when the fire broke out”, inform, on Monday morning, the officials of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Prahova.
There were no victims as a result of the fire.
The firefighters established, after extinguishing the fire, that it was most likely caused by a short circuit in one of the cars.
