Cleaning a bathtub is not a fun task. It takes a lot of time to remove stubborn dirt and yellow stains, and your back may hurt after cleaning. However, there is a method that allows you to clean the bathtub of old plaque in just a couple of minutes without using a sponge.
Cleaning expert Ali Chadwick shared a quick and easy way to remove dirt stains from your bathtub. Instead of a sponge, she recommends using a mop with a microfiber attachment. Due to the fact that the mop is much larger than a sponge, the cleaning process is accelerated. Just a few minutes – and the dirt, including the rim around the circumference of the bathtub, will be removed.
Before using the mop, you should thoroughly rinse it (or its attachment) so as not to aggravate the situation. You can also use a steam mop with a hand steamer function for this purpose.
This method can be a real lifesaver for people with back problems or limited mobility, as it allows you to clean while standing and easily reach most surfaces of the bathtub.
