Canned fish with worm larvae found in Moscow and St. Petersburg supermarkets
Parasites were found in fish purchased from the Pyaterochka and Dixie retail chains. Three manufacturers were indicated on the labels of the cans: “Murman-fish”, “Defriz” and “Priboy”.
The companies deny their guilt: Defriez says that they don't produce canned food since last year, Priboi assured that their products comply with the requirements of technical regulations, and in “Murman-Ryba” they said that this is not their product since the markings on the banks do not match.
An internal audit has begun in stores.
