Kazakhstan joins the Abraham Accords. Donald Trump announces


“I just had a wonderful telephone conversation between Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Kazakhstan's President Kasy Zomart Tokayev. Kazakhstan is the first country in my second term to join the Abraham Accords, the first of many. This is an important step forward in building ties around the world. Today, more and more countries are joining my Abraham Accords to enjoy peace and prosperity. We will soon announce a signing ceremony to make it official, and many other countries are trying to join this FORCE club. We still have a long way to go in uniting countries for economic stability and growth – real progress and real results. BLESSED BE THE PEACEMAKERS!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
On Thursday, US special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, announced that “a new country's accession to the Abraham Accords will be announced.”

Earlier, Axios reported that it was Kazakhstan – on Thursday, the country's president met Donald Trump at the White House. During the meeting, an agreement on critical minerals was signed. Joining the Abraham Accords is an opportunity for Kazakhs to gain in the eyes of Washington — even before his visit to the US, Tokayev approached the Trump administration with this proposal.
The Abraham Accords normalize relations between Israel and Muslim-majority countries.
