The oldest active actress of the Mossovet Theater, Maria Knushevitskaya, was hospitalized due to heart problems in Moscow.
According to Mash, recently the 91-year-old artist felt weak, dizzy and had chest pain. An ambulance was called for her. Doctors took the maestro away in a moderate condition.
Knushevitskaya appeared on the stage of her native theater in 1957. Since then, she has missed performances only for film roles. Among the most famous productions with her participation: “Three Sisters”, “Uncle Vanya”, “The Cherry Orchard”, “The Seagull” and others.
