Elena Udrea demands the reduction of the sentence by another 17 days. When the request will be judged

Former minister Elena Udrea asks to reduce the sentence with another 17 days of imprisonment, being about days executed in the central arrest of the Capital Police and under house arrest. Udrea submitted a request to the Prahova Court.
Elena Udrea, who executes at the Târgşor Penitentiary in Prahova county the sentence to which she was convicted in the file known to the public under the name Gala Bute, submitted to the Prahova Tribunal a new request requesting the reduction of the sentence, by 17 days.
Judicial sources quoted by the News.ro agency states that it is the days that the former minister has executed in the central arrest of the Capital Police and under house arrest for a different fact than the one for which he was convicted.
The file that has as its object the enforcement challenge was registered at the Prahova Court on May 6, and the court established that the court term of May 27.
Elena Udrea invoked in her request a provision of the Criminal Code, according to which the period in which a person was subject to a preventive measure deprived of liberty decreases from the duration of the pronounced prison sentence and when the convicted person was prosecuted or tried for several competing offenses, even if he was convicted for another deed.
Last month, Elena Udrea obtained in court the decrease of the sentence by about 150 days, the Prahova Court admitting its request that the days spent in detention in Costa Rica and Bulgaria will be deducted from the 6 -year sentence to which she was sentenced.
Elena Udrea's request is reduced by the 154 -day punishment has been approved. The decision is not final
