30 October 15:07

MTS launched new telecom equipment in the villages of Khandala, Tyukhtyat and Shadrino, the villages of Ugolny and Oykha, as well as the village of Tigino.

Regional and municipal roads, popular among residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, run along these settlements. The updated coverage area of MTS voice communications and mobile Internet was about 80 kilometers.

Thanks to the installation of additional base stations of the LTE-1800 standard, fast Internet was launched in the village of Ugolny, on the section of the Sharypovo – Uzhur – Balakhta transport artery, connecting three western districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as the Siberia and Yenisei federal highways.

Mobile communications have also started working in the village of Oikha, along which the Sayany highway runs, a direction connecting the southern and south-eastern districts of the region with the regional capital. The “White Spot” is also closed near the village of Tigino, one of the stops on the Yenisei Highway towards Bolshaya Murta.

The new coverage area also includes roads that are popular among residents of the Kuraginsky, Dzerzhinsky-Taseevsky and Kozulsky districts. In particular, sections of the routes “Kuragino – Cheremshanka” along the village of Tyukhtyat, “Kansk – Taseevo – Ustye” near the village of Khandala, “Shadrino – Podsosnoye” near the village of Shadrino were digitized. These directions are included in the transport corridor for the delivery of products from agro-industrial and forestry enterprises to Krasnoyarsk.

“MTS continues to improve the coverage on the roads of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. For the summer season, we added Internet speeds to three sections of the Siberia federal highway, and also covered the Minusinsk – Bellyk, Novoaltatka – Krutoyarsky and Roshcha – Balai routes with communications. While remaining online while driving, drivers will be able to listen to music or audio books and navigate the area. Mobile Internet is also necessary for dispatchers of motor transport companies, who will be able to monitor the work of their drivers, vehicle health and fuel consumption in real time,” comments Sergei Yegoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
