About 200 people are stuck at Phuket airport and cannot fly to Moscow on an Azur Air flight for nine hours.
Flight ZF 2902 was supposed to fly to Russia today at 12:50 (8:50 Moscow time). However, it was rescheduled three times. Passengers have been sitting at the airport since the morning. There is no hot food. According to people, the airline's hotline redirects them to travel agencies. According to the latest data, the flight was postponed again – to 7:40 am (3:40 Moscow time). Nothing is known about hotels either.
Azur Air had a similar problem yesterday. Their Sochi-Phuket plane took off with a 20-hour delay, and eventually returned to Sochi airport. People were transferred to the other side, and they still went to the resort – 38 hours later.
UPD. Azur Air said that the flight was delayed “due to the closure of Phuket airport for routine maintenance.” Now everything is being fixed. The departure is scheduled for April 13 at 7:45 (03:45 Moscow time). People will be provided with hotel accommodation and food.
