Ukraine will expand the range of attacks deep inside Russia

“The main topic was our ability to conduct long-range actions against Russia. (…) We analyzed the effectiveness of our long-range strikes in a specific period and the results achieved. Russia's oil refining sector is already paying a tangible price for the war – and will pay an even greater price” – he wrote on social media.

At the meeting “tasks have been set to expand the geographical range of use of our long-range weapons” Zelensky said.

He informed that the authorities in Kiev are working with producers on long-term contracts. “The three-year period allows manufacturers to better plan the use of necessary resources and increase the scale of deliveries to the army. The number of such contracts concluded will be greater,” he noted.

The president announced that he had listened to reports on Russian attacks on infrastructure and energy facilities. He said that he was talking to foreign partners about their defense. “The necessary systems are available from partners and it is important for Ukrainian diplomacy to be more active in preparing appropriate decisions,” Zelensky said.
