“She lay down and gave birth”: the moment of childbirth at the Gorkovskaya station in St. Petersburg was caught on CCTV cameras
The woman felt contractions while the train was moving, she went onto the platform, where the symptoms intensified. Judging by the footage, the woman spread her skirt on the floor and sat on it, at that moment eyewitnesses approached her, and a few minutes later – doctors and station employees.
The employees called an ambulance, but the baby appeared before the doctors arrived: the woman gave birth to a boy in just a few minutes.
