The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is on an official visit to Bucharest on October 26, where she participates, together with her Romanian counterpart Nicușor Dan, in the consecration service of the painting of the National Cathedral, the largest Orthodox church in the world.

According to the representatives of the Presidential Administration in Chisinau, Maia Sandu is participating in the consecration service of the painting of the National Cathedral in Bucharest, being invited by the Blessed Father Daniel, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

The leader from Chisinau arrived around 10:00 at the place of worship.
Ten thousand pilgrims and 2,500 official guests are expected at the consecration service of the painting of the National Cathedral, including the leader from Cotroceni, Nicușor Dan, and the Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan.
On the same day, in Bucharest, the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will have a meeting with the president of Romania, Nicușor Dan.
