The Minister of Defense, Ionuţ Moşteanu, stated that Romania will not go to war and says that there is a lot of disinformation, and this comes from the Russian channel.

The Minister of Defense was asked on Saturday evening, on Antena 3 CNN, if Romania is going to war, considering that this is a matter that circulates frequently on social networks, reports News.ro.

“It doesn't come in, of course it doesn't. It doesn't come in. There is a lot of disinformation and there is a lot of disinformation coming through the Russian chain. It is very easy for Putin to use influencers, bloggers as he has used in many countries to release all kinds of videos, to spread all kinds of fake news that, before they are stopped or taken down from the platforms, because it is unhealthy for society to you keep lies on social platforms, they end up getting millions of views and, thus, some people who don't check a lot of information… Good people, get information from reliable sources, from credible sources, from credible press sources, when you see a bombastic news, check it”, declared Ionuţ Moşteanu.

He added that Romania must help Ukraine win the war.

“We do not enter into any war, the fact that we have the war next to us is a reality. We do not want to be neighbors with Putin, we must help Ukraine win the war, but we do not enter into any war. We continue to prepare, we strengthen our Army and we and our allies”, said the Minister of Defense.
