Minusintsev warned about scammers taking money for complaints to Rospotrebnadzor

October 21 9:21

In Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, cases have become more frequent when scammers disguised as lawyers take money from residents for filing complaints to Rospotrebnadzor.

According to the supervisory authority, scammers convince people that the official application form on the Rospotrebnadzor website is too complicated to fill out on their own. However, in practice, such paid complaints often turn out to be ineffective – they are compiled according to a template, without a detailed description of the problem, and sometimes even without indicating the complainant’s contacts.

Unscrupulous assistants demand up to 20 thousand rubles for services that can be received for free.

Recently, the department has received six similar requests, including a complaint about the Telegram messenger. Experts emphasize that all of them were compiled poorly and did not allow us to understand the essence of citizens’ problems.

Rospotrebnadzor reminds that you can file a complaint independently and free of charge in several ways: through the official website with authorization on State Services, by mail or during a personal visit to the department. Consultation can also be obtained by calling the hotline: 8 (391) 226-89-50.
