5.7 million passengers in 2025. A record result


The airport's spokeswoman, Agnieszka Michajłow, announced that from January to September 2025, exactly 5,669,130 passengers passed through the Gdańsk airport. The number of flight operations increased by 7.2%, reaching 46,878. Moreover, the load factor was a record 83.8%, which is the best result in the airport's history.
The president of the airport, Tomasz Kloskowski, expressed optimism about the final results of the year in a statement. It estimates that the number of passengers served in 2025 may reach 7.3 million. He pointed out that the stabilization of charter traffic, which increased by less than 3 percent, is giving way to dynamically developing scheduled connections operated by Wizz Air and Ryanair. “Wizz Air recently announced that it will add a ninth aircraft to its base in Gdańsk, which is a consequence of the growing demand,” Kloskowski pointed out.

Among the most frequently chosen routes in 2025, connections from Gdańsk to London (409,465 passengers), Oslo (370,872) and Copenhagen (323,314) dominated. In the non-scheduled traffic segment, including charter flights, general aviation and military operations, 569,332 passengers were recorded, which is an increase of 2.7%. compared to 2024.
Gdańsk Airport also boasts great financial results. From January to September 2025, the company generated PLN 67.8 million in sales profit, which means an increase of 17%. year to year. Net profit amounted to PLN 56.7 million, which is an improvement of 22%. compared to the same period last year.
In the analyzed period, the largest part of regular traffic in Gdańsk was served by Wizz Air, which was responsible for 43.7%. connections. The next places were taken by Ryanair (37.6%), LOT Polish Airlines (4.6%), Lufthansa (4.3%) and KLM (3.4%). Moreover, during the first nine months of 2025, 8,053 tons of cargo were transported in the port of Gdańsk.
