In 2026, major renovations will be carried out in Krasnoyarsk kindergartens No. 60 on Medicinskiy Lane, 2a and No. 282 on Ustinovich Street, 7a. This was reported to the mayor's office.
Kindergarten No. 60, built in 1960, was declared unsafe back in 2021 and its students were transferred to other buildings of the institution. Kindergarten No. 282 was built in 1989 and also needs modernization; children from there will be reassigned before work begins.
“The work will affect from the interior to the replacement of all utility networks. They will also replace windows and doors, repair facades and porches, and carry out complete interior decoration. Particular attention will be paid to landscaping the area: paths will be paved, shade canopies and small architectural forms will be installed. Modern educational and technological equipment will be purchased for the kindergartens themselves,” the main education department said.
A competition to find contractors is planned to be announced before the end of 2025. Preschool institutions will be renovated as part of the Youth and Children national project. The work is financed from the federal, regional and local budgets; more than 248 million rubles will be allocated for just two kindergartens.
