Orban discussed his summit with Putin with Trump and called Hungary an “island of peace”

Earlier, on October 16, the head of the White House announced a meeting with illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest to “see if they can put an end to the ‘inglorious’ war between Russia and Ukraine.”

Orban noted that Hungary is ready for this.

“I just spoke on the phone with President Trump,” the Hungarian prime minister wrote late in the evening. “Preparations for the US-Russia peace summit continue. Hungary is an island of peace.”

Orban did not provide details of the conversation with Trap and preparations for the summit.
