The Librecht-Filipescu House has a unique story and is one of the buildings in Little Paris that amaze both architecturally and historically.

It is located in the heart of the Capital, on Dionisie Lupu street no. 46 and is currently known as Casa Universitarilor. For more than a century and a half it has undergone changes, but the charm and specific aura of the 19th century have remained unchanged, not diminished.

As its name suggests, the history of the house revolved around two influential figures from the modern history of the country, the first being Cezar Librecht and then Gheorghe C. Filipescu.

Read, on B365.ro, about the story of the University House, the first in Bucharest to have an electric bell. It is currently an important cultural and academic space of the city.
