The former soloist of the band “Gas on fire” criticizes the call for reservists to mobilizing exercises. Andrei Rosu: “People must be treated with respect and transparency”

Andrei Roşu, the former soloist of the band “Gas on fire”, criticized the way the Ministry of National Defense communicated the call for reservists to mobilization exercises, saying that the order “would have been much more useful if it had come with practical information and sent from time”.

On Facebook, Red told how he received the document and what was dissatisfied with the way it was transmitted.
“Today I received, through the police, at the door, an order of call for exercises … for the tomorrow. Good luck was someone at home-otherwise I would probably not know anything until that day and I would have chosen with a fine.”said Andrei Roşu, on FB.
The former artist stressed that the order would have been much more useful if it had provided practical information such as the exact location of the exercises, the necessary equipment, food and water, a contact number and, especially, if they were sent longer before.
“It seems important to me that people are treated with respect and transparency, especially when it comes to mobilization. Not all have simple situations – to work, have business, children or medical problems. And it would be correct to be clearly communicated for those who cannot participate – the alternative civil service provided by law.” explained red.
Shortly after his posting, another reservist detailed how, in fact, a day of instruction is carried out.
“You do not have to bring any equipment, you receive everything-from socks to the belt. In the morning we were received in a military tent with water and coffee. We passed through workshops with weapons and presentations about the first aid. he wrote.
The commentator, however, mentioned that providing new equipment for tens of thousands of former military can be a budget waste.
Andrei Rosu later returned with clarifications, explaining that his intention was not to cause panic.
“I posted some suggestions yesterday about how the order of calling the reservists can be improved, so as to generate as little panic and as few questions. Many have interpreted my post-about an absolutely normal order for a country near a war area-as a possible enrollment for the front. Switzerland is a country that, although neutral, has one of the best prepared and well-organized armed in the world. exemplary ”, He wrote red, on FB.
Andrei Rosu added that mobilization exercises can have a legitimate purpose, but the way they are communicated makes the difference between confusion and confidence.
Former soloist in the Gas band on the fire, Andrei Rosu, is a sportsman, entrepreneur and Romanian motivational speaker, known for his remarkable performances in the field of extreme sports and for his impact in the run of runners.
He became the first man in the world to complete 7 marathons and 7 ultramarathoons on 7 continents, including in extreme locations such as Antarctica, Sahara, Himalaya and the North Pole.
MAPN called thousands of reservists from Bucharest and Ilfov on a day of instruction
We remind that the Ministry of National Defense (MAPN) has triggered a broad action to verify the reservists in Bucharest and Ilfov. Thousands of people who made the army before 2004 are called for a day of instruction and evaluation, in a routine exercise meant to update the ministry's database and to verify the preparation of the former military.
The unmotivated absence from such an exercise is sanctioned with a fine, according to Law 446/2006 on the preparation of the population for defense. Those who cannot present themselves for objective reasons must notify the military unit indicated in the call order and present supporting evidence.
“Such exercises are organized periodically for update reserviștilo dataR and to evaluate the minimum preparation level of those who performed the compulsory military service before 2004 ”, is shown in a statement of the institution.
What happens on the day of exercise
According to the procedure, the reservists receive orders to call the unit and must be presented on the indicated date and time. Arriving there, they go through several standard activities:
- They are equipped with uniform, antiglon vest, helmet and exercise weapon;
- receive safety training;
- participates in training with training ammunition;
- benefit from a hot meal before the program is completed.
The whole activity lasts a single day, and the purpose is strictly administrative and training.
Such exercises are carried out every year, in different counties of the country, as part of the program for the verification and updating of the Romanian Army reservists
